8 oz spiral pasta (penne, spaghetti, or tagliatelle work too)

1 head of broccoli, cut into small florets

3 cloves garlic, crushed

1 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

2 tablespoons flour

4 cups vegetable stock

1.5 cups heavy cream

1 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated

Small bunch of fresh chopped parsley (or fresh basil)
Instructions
- Prepare Broccoli: Cut broccoli into small florets and blanch by pouring boiling water over them. Rinse with cold water and set aside.
- Prepare Sauce: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for 1 minute. Add flour and stir well.
- Cook Sauce: Gradually add vegetable stock and heavy cream, whisking continuously. Simmer until thickened.
- Combine Pasta & Broccoli: Add uncooked pasta and broccoli to the sauce. Stir to coat, cover, and cook on medium-low heat for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Finish Dish: Add butter, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Stir well until cheese melts. Serve hot with extra Parmesan if desired.
