Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract, sprinkles for decoration


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Mix in flour gradually until dough forms.

  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.

  • Flatten slightly with your palm or a glass.

  • Add sprinkles if desired.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.

  • Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes

  • Use room temperature butter for best mixing results.
  • If dough is crumbly, knead gently by hand until smooth.
