Description

Juicy, flavorful chicken skewers marinated in smoky spices, cooked to perfection in the air fryer, and finished with a buttery garlic herb glaze.


Ingredients

  • lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 2-inch pieces

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced


Instructions

  • Combine spices and avocado oil in a bowl, mix into a paste. Add chicken and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 20 minutes.

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.

  • Melt butter in a pan, sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in honey and parsley. Set aside.

  • Thread chicken onto skewers, preheat air fryer to 400°F.

  • Air fry for 10 minutes, flip, then cook 6–8 more minutes until internal temp hits 165°F.

  • Brush hot skewers with garlic herb butter and garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • For deeper flavor, marinate chicken up to 4 hours.
  • Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for even cooking.
