Description

Crispy, cheesy, and full of garlicky flavor, these air fryer fries are a healthier twist on a classic side dish. Quick, easy, and absolutely addictive.


Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes, peeled (or skin-on)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • Optional: 1 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  • Cut potatoes into ½-inch fries.

  • Soak in cold water for 20 minutes. Drain and dry thoroughly.

  • Toss with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  • Cook fries in a single layer for 15–20 minutes, shaking halfway.

  • Sprinkle parmesan, return to air fryer for 2–3 minutes.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use garlic powder to prevent burning.
  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • For extra crispiness, add a light dusting of cornstarch before cooking.
