Description
These Air Fryer Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos combine crispy, golden shrimp with a creamy, spicy bang bang sauce, all wrapped in warm tortillas. Quick, easy, and packed with flavor, they’re perfect for taco night or any time you’re craving something delicious!
Ingredients
- For the Shrimp: 1 lb shrimp (peeled & deveined), ½ cup flour, 2 large eggs (beaten), 1 cup panko breadcrumbs, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp smoked paprika, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper
 - For the Bang Bang Sauce: ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp sriracha, 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce, 1 tbsp honey
 - For the Tacos: 8 small tortillas, 1 cup shredded purple cabbage, ½ cup shredded carrots, ½ cup chopped cilantro, 1 avocado (sliced), lime wedges
 
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: Pat dry and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
 - Coat the Shrimp: Dredge in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
 - Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange shrimp in a single layer, spray lightly with cooking spray, and air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
 - Make the Bang Bang Sauce: Whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, sweet chili sauce, and honey.
 - Warm the Tortillas: Heat tortillas on a skillet or open flame for a few seconds until soft.
 - Assemble the Tacos: Spread bang bang sauce on tortillas, add cabbage, carrots, crispy shrimp, avocado, and cilantro. Drizzle extra sauce and serve with lime wedges.
 
Notes
- For extra crispy shrimp, double-coat them in panko before air frying.
 - Make it gluten-free by using gluten-free panko and corn tortillas.
 - Adjust spice level by adding more or less sriracha.
