Description

These Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders are an irresistible combination of crispy bacon, juicy chicken, and a caramelized brown sugar glaze. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or main dish, they’re easy to make and packed with sweet-savory flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into 8 strips)
  • 8 strips thick-cut bacon
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack.
  • Cut chicken into 8 even strips.
  • Mix brown sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Coat chicken strips in the mixture.
  • Wrap each chicken strip with bacon, tucking the ends under.
  • Arrange tenders seam-side down on the baking sheet. Sprinkle any remaining brown sugar on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • For extra crispiness, broil for 1-2 minutes, watching carefully.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use thick-cut bacon for the best texture.
  • If bacon isn’t crispy enough, broil for a few minutes at the end.
  • Serve with honey mustard, ranch, or BBQ sauce for dipping.
