For the Fritters:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Mix well.
- Gradually add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 14–16 minutes or until golden brown.
- Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over warm fritters and let it set before serving.

- Use firm apples like Granny Smith for the best texture.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
