  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle hot sauce (e.g., chipotle Tabasco)
  • Celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing (for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat broiler to high and position the oven rack 5 inches below. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Toss with baking powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Arrange wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Broil for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and browned (165°F internal temperature).
  • Whisk honey, chipotle hot sauce, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to make the sauce.
  • Toss cooked wings in the sauce until evenly coated.
  • Serve warm with celery sticks and ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Notes
