This Baked Crunchy Hot Honey Chicken is crispy, flavorful, and drizzled with a homemade sweet and spicy hot honey glaze. It’s easy to make, baked instead of fried, and perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

- 1 ½ lbs chicken breast tenderloins
- 2 cups crushed cornflakes
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Hot Honey Sauce:
- ½ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- ½ teaspoon chipotle chili powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Crush cornflakes and mix with Parmesan, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs with hot sauce.
- Dip each chicken tender in the egg mixture, then coat in the cornflake mixture. Repeat for extra crispiness.
- Place on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, warm honey with hot sauce, cayenne, chipotle chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and sea salt. Stir until well combined.
- Drizzle hot honey over the crispy chicken and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, use an air fryer at 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
- Adjust spice levels by increasing or decreasing the cayenne and hot sauce.
