Baked Feta Pasta

Description

This baked feta pasta recipe is creamy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make. Made with just a few ingredients, it’s a weeknight dinner dream that comes together in under 40 minutes and delivers big on taste.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pints grape or cherry tomatoes

  • 1 block (7–8 oz) feta cheese

  • 5 tbsp olive oil, divided

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt, to taste

  • 8 oz short pasta (bow tie, penne, shells)

  • Fresh basil, chopped

  • Optional add-ins: roasted peppers, spinach, olives, artichokes, chili flakes


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Add tomatoes to a baking dish, place feta in the center.

  • Drizzle 3 tbsp olive oil over tomatoes and cheese. Sprinkle with seasoning and salt.

  • Drizzle remaining 2 tbsp olive oil over feta.

  • Bake for 30–35 minutes until tomatoes burst and feta softens.

  • Cook pasta, reserving ½ cup of water.

  • Mash feta and tomatoes into a sauce.

  • Add pasta and basil, toss well. Add pasta water if needed. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use a block of feta for best results.
  • Stir in spinach or grilled chicken for added nutrition.
  • Avoid freezing for best texture.
