Ingredients

  • 4 large croissants (freshly baked or store-bought)

  • 4 slices of ham (high-quality deli ham)

  • 4 slices of cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or your preferred type)

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (for added flavor)

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing on croissants)

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional, for seasoning)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for a savory kick)


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice each croissant in half lengthwise. Toast them lightly if desired.
  • Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the inside of each croissant half.
  • Place a slice of ham and then a slice of cheese on each croissant half.
  • Close the croissants and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops with melted butter. Sprinkle dried thyme and garlic powder if using.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Allow them to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
