- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- ½ cup blueberries
- 1–2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for garnish)
- Maple syrup (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare the Bread: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and add cubed French bread.
- Make the Custard: Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Pour over the bread.
- Add the Berries: Scatter strawberries and blueberries evenly on top.
- Refrigerate Overnight: Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake uncovered for 35-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Let cool slightly, then top with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
