These Best Healthy Air Fryer Turkey Meatballs are juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Made with lean ground turkey, Parmesan cheese, and a sweet & spicy sauce, they’re perfect for a quick and healthy meal. Ideal for meal prep, low-carb diets, and busy weeknight dinners.

For the Meatballs:

  • 1 pound ground turkey (93/7 lean preferred)

  • 1 large egg

  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if preferred)

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley

  • Salt & pepper to taste

For the Sweet & Spicy Sauce:

  • ½ cup chili sauce

  • ¼ cup apricot preserves


Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F and lightly spray the basket with olive oil.
  • In a large bowl, combine all meatball ingredients and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Form mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs (about 15–17 meatballs).
  • Place meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 7–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • While the meatballs cook, mix the chili sauce and apricot preserves in a bowl until smooth.
  • Once cooked, transfer meatballs to a bowl and toss with the sweet & spicy sauce.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • If the mixture feels sticky, refrigerate for 10–15 minutes before forming meatballs.
  • To make this recipe gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
