Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt) in a bowl.
  • Cream butter and sugar in another bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  • Alternately mix in dry ingredients and milk, stirring gently.
  • Fold in blueberries, tossing them in flour first to prevent sinking.
  • Prepare the cream cheese filling by beating cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla together.
  • Layer batter and filling: Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, spread the cream cheese mixture, then top with remaining batter.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
