An easy, elegant pastry made with buttery puff pastry, creamy vanilla-scented cream cheese, and juicy blueberries. Ready in just 35 minutes and perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)

  • ¾ cup fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (for frozen berries)

  • 1 egg + 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)

  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

  • 12 tbsp milk or cream

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Roll out puff pastry and cut into 6 rectangles.

  • Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest.

  • Spread filling onto each rectangle. Add blueberries.

  • Fold edges slightly and brush with egg wash.

  • Bake 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.

  • Cool and drizzle with glaze.

Notes

  • Don’t thaw frozen blueberries—toss with flour and use frozen.
  • Keep puff pastry cold until baking for best results.
  • You can make these ahead and bake the next morning.
  • Glaze is optional but adds sweetness and shine.
