- 4 slices turkey or beef bacon, chopped
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- ½ cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter or oil
Instructions
- Cook the Bacon – Heat a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
- Scramble the Eggs – In the same pan, melt butter, scramble the eggs, then remove and set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics – Cook the diced onion until soft, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
- Fry the Rice – Add cold rice, fry undisturbed for 4-5 minutes, then mix in soy sauce, sesame oil, and seasonings.
- Add Vegetables – Stir in mixed vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Combine Everything – Return the bacon, eggs, and green onions to the pan, mix well, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve Hot – Enjoy immediately with extra soy sauce or sesame seeds.
