- 1 pound bacon, cut into halves or thirds

- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Cut the bacon slices into halves or thirds.
- Wrap each Little Smokie with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Roll the bacon-wrapped smokies in brown sugar to coat them completely.
- Arrange them on the baking sheet, spacing them out evenly.
- Sprinkle cayenne pepper or smoked paprika for extra flavor (optional).
