A fresh and satisfying no-cook sandwich inspired by Caprese salad, layered with juicy tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, fragrant basil, and tangy balsamic glaze.
Ingredients

1 small ciabatta loaf or 2 rolls, sliced

6 slices fresh mozzarella (4 oz)

1 large ripe tomato, sliced

¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes, drained

1 handful fresh basil leaves

2 tbsp balsamic glaze

Optional: 1–2 tsp pesto, arugula or spinach, crushed red pepper
Instructions

Slice the ciabatta bread in half.

Rinse and dry basil leaves.

Slice the tomato and let drain briefly on a paper towel.

Layer mozzarella, fresh tomato slices, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil on the bottom half of the bread.

Drizzle with balsamic glaze.

Add any optional toppings like pesto or greens.

Top with remaining bread, press gently, and serve immediately.

- For best results, use fresh mozzarella and ripe, firm tomatoes.
