Carrot Strawberries

  • Author: Marina Savoy
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 12-15 strawberries 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

These carrot strawberries are a fun and festive twist on chocolate-covered strawberries, designed to look like tiny Easter carrots. They are simple to make, require only three ingredients, and are perfect for Easter celebrations, spring gatherings, or as cupcake toppers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • 8 oz orange candy melting chips
  • Orange sparkling sugar (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash and completely dry the strawberries. Fluff the green stems upward to create a “carrot” look.
  • Chill the strawberries in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to help the chocolate set faster.
  • Melt the orange candy melts in 30-second microwave intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  • Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, coating evenly.
  • Sprinkle with orange sparkling sugar if desired.
  • Place dipped strawberries on parchment paper and allow the coating to set before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure strawberries are completely dry before dipping to help the chocolate adhere properly.
  • If the melted candy is too thick, add a teaspoon of coconut oil to thin it out.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
