  • 2 lbs frozen hash browns (thawed)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine hash browns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cheese, onion, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  • Spread Mixture: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
  • Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  • Add Extra Cheese (Optional): Sprinkle additional cheese on top in the last 5-10 minutes of baking.
  • Cool & Garnish: Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
