– Pickles, for garnish
– Ketchup and mustard, for serving
Instructions
Creating delicious cheeseburger sliders can be a breeze if you follow these simple steps:
1. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the Beef: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid overworking the meat.
3. Form Patties: Shape the beef mixture into small slider-sized patties, about 2 inches in diameter.
4. Cook the Onions: In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onions until they are translucent, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
5. Cook the Patties: In the same skillet, add the slider patties. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
6. Add Cheese: Place a half slice of cheddar cheese on each patty in the last minute of cooking. Cover to melt the cheese.
7. Prepare the Buns: While the cheese is melting, place the slider buns on a baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, until warm and slightly crispy.
8. Assemble the Sliders: On the bottom half of each bun, place a cheesy patty, top with sautéed onions, and add pickles.
9. Add Condiments: Spread ketchup and mustard on the top half of the buns before placing them back over the assembled sliders.
10. Serve Immediately: These sliders are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven while the cheese is still melty!
