Ingredients
– 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend preferred)
– 1 package of Hawaiian rolls (12-count)
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your cheese of choice)
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
– Optional toppings: pickles, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise
Instructions
Creating cheeseburger sliders with Hawaiian rolls is simple and enjoyable. Just follow these easy steps:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined but avoid overmixing.
3. Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef patties to the pan.
5. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
6. During the last minute of cooking, place shredded cheese on top of each patty and cover the skillet with a lid to help the cheese melt.
7. While the patties are cooking, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half through the center, keeping them connected.
8. Once the cheese has melted, remove the patties from the skillet and place each one onto the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls.
9. If using additional toppings (like pickles, lettuce, or tomatoes), add them now. Then place the top half of the rolls over the patties.
10. Place the entire slider assembly on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the rolls are toasty.
11. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing between the sliders. Serve with your favorite condiments.
