Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare the filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in cinnamon if using.
  • Layer the first crescent roll dough at the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Spread cheesecake filling evenly over the bottom layer.
  • Cover with the second crescent roll dough, pressing seams together.
  • Brush melted butter over the top for a golden finish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Let cool for 10-15 minutes, dust with powdered sugar, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • For a crispier bottom, pre-bake the bottom crescent roll layer for 5 minutes before adding the filling.
  • For extra flavor, add a drizzle of caramel, chocolate, or fresh fruit before serving.
