- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 lb ground breakfast sausage (chicken or beef sausage)
- 2 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (divided)
- 2 cups whole milk
- 5 large eggs
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Pinch of salt
- 2 lbs frozen, unseasoned tater tots
- 3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cook turkey bacon until crispy; crumble and set aside.
- Cook sausage until browned; drain and layer on the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle 2 cups of cheese over the sausage, followed by the crumbled bacon.
- Whisk eggs, milk, black pepper, onion powder, and salt. Pour over the cheese and sausage mixture.
- Arrange frozen tater tots evenly over the top.
- Bake for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
