  • Author: Marina Savoy
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 16 sliders (Serves 6-8)

Description

These Chicken & Waffle Sliders are a fun and easy party appetizer made with crispy chicken fingers and fluffy mini waffles. Perfectly drizzled with maple syrup, they’re the ultimate sweet-and-savory treat that everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • Frozen Chicken Fingers: 4 pieces (about 3-4 sliders per chicken finger)
  • Frozen Mini Waffles: 32 pieces (Eggo Mini Waffles or homemade)
  • Coleslaw (Optional): 1 cup for added crunch and flavor
  • Maple Syrup: 2 tablespoons for drizzling (or spicy honey for a twist)
  • Toothpicks: 16, to hold sliders together

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Cook chicken fingers according to package instructions. Slice each into 3-4 smaller pieces.
  • Prepare the Waffles: Toast mini waffles until golden and slightly crispy.
  • Assemble the Sliders:
    • Place a spoonful of coleslaw on one mini waffle.
    • Add a piece of chicken and cover with another mini waffle.
    • Secure with a toothpick. Repeat until all sliders are made.
  • Serve: Drizzle with maple syrup and serve warm.

Notes

  • For healthier sliders, use baked or air-fried chicken fingers.
  • Use whole-grain waffles for more fiber.
  • Keep sliders warm during parties by placing them on a low-heat tray.
