- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ⅓ cup milk
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ small onion, finely grated
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes.
- Add ground beef, Parmesan, egg, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley. Mix gently.
- Shape mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve with marinara sauce over pasta, in subs, or as an appetizer.

- For extra softness, do not overmix the meat.
- Use a mix of beef and turkey for a leaner option.
