Ingredients
- Streusel Topping: All-purpose flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, butter
- Cookie Dough: All-purpose flour, cake flour, cornstarch, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, salt, butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, egg + egg yolk
- Icing: Butter, heavy cream or milk, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt
Instructions
- Make the Streusel: Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly. Chill.
- Prepare the Cookie Dough: Whisk dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugars, then add vanilla and eggs. Gradually mix in dry ingredients.
- Shape the Cookies: Roll dough into balls, place on a baking sheet, and create an indentation in each. Fill with streusel.
- Bake: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- Icing: Mix melted butter, cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
