Description

These Cute Deviled Eggs Chicks are a fun and festive twist on traditional deviled eggs. Made with Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and sundried tomatoes, they’re creamy, flavorful, and healthier than the classic version. Perfect for Easter, spring celebrations, or kids’ parties!


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs, hardboiled and peeled

  • 1.5 tbsp plain Greek yogurt

  • 1.5 tbsp low-fat mayonnaise

  • 1/2 tbsp sundried tomatoes, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp dry mustard

  • 1/8 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 small carrot (for feet and noses)

  • 12 peppercorns (for eyes)


Instructions

  • Boil and Peel Eggs: Boil eggs, cool in ice water, and peel.
  • Slice Eggs: Cut off top 1/4 of each egg and slice a small piece from the bottom so they stand.
  • Remove Yolks: Scoop out yolks and place them in a bowl.
  • Prepare Filling: Mix yolks with yogurt, mayonnaise, sundried tomatoes, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper. Chill filling.
  • Make Decorations: Cut carrot pieces for feet and noses.
  • Assemble: Pipe filling into eggs, place egg tops on top, and add eyes and noses.
  • Serve: Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the filling.
  • Substitute peppercorns with black olives for edible eyes.
