These Easter Blossom Cookies are a fun and festive treat with a soft sugar cookie base, rolled in colorful sanding sugar and topped with a Hershey’s Kiss. Perfect for Easter celebrations, spring parties, and homemade gift-giving.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- Colored sanding sugar (pastel colors)
- 32 Hershey’s Kisses (unwrapped)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Mix in egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, then add milk to soften the dough.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls, coat in colored sanding sugar, and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until cookies are set but not browned.
- Let cookies cool for 2 minutes, then press a Hershey’s Kiss into each.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Refrigerate dough for 20 minutes before baking to prevent spreading.
- Use different Hershey’s Kiss flavors for variety.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
