Description

A quick and easy no-bake Easter treat made with shredded wheat, melted chocolate, and mini eggs. Perfect for kids and festive gatherings!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g milk chocolate (or mix of milk and dark chocolate)
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 100g golden syrup
  • 68 shredded wheat biscuits, crushed (or 150g cornflakes/Rice Krispies)
  • 100200g mini chocolate eggs for decoration

Instructions

  • Crush shredded wheat into small pieces and place in a large bowl.
  • Melt butter and golden syrup in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and add chopped chocolate, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the shredded wheat and mix well.
  • Scoop spoonfuls onto a lined tray or into cupcake cases, shaping into nests.
  • Place three mini chocolate eggs in the center of each nest.
  • Chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes until firm. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Can be made with cornflakes or Rice Krispies instead of shredded wheat.
  • Store at room temperature for up to 7 days or in the fridge for 2 weeks.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months and thaw at room temperature before serving.
