Description

This quick and flavorful grilled chicken marinade is made with pantry ingredients like olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, and spices. It’s perfect for juicy, tender chicken that’s ideal for grilling, baking, or roasting.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • Optional: 1/4 tsp red chili flakes


Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk all marinade ingredients until well combined.

  • Add chicken and coat thoroughly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 24 hours).

  • Grill over medium heat for 6–7 minutes per side, or until internal temp is 165°F (74°C).

  • Rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For best flavor, marinate for 4–8 hours.
  • Works great with any cut of chicken.
  • Can be baked or pan-cooked as well.
  • Use fresh herbs post-cooking for added freshness.
