- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups water or beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Add onion and cook until softened. Drain excess grease.
- Mix all ingredients (except cheese) in a large bowl, then transfer to a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until melted.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
