Description

A quick and delicious no-bake snack that blends creamy white chocolate with freeze-dried strawberries for a sweet and crunchy strawberry shortcake twist on classic puppy chow.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice or Corn Chex cereal

  • 1½ cups white chocolate chips

  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries

  • ¾ cup powdered sugar

  • Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract, pinch of salt


Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

  • Pulse freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor into a powder.

  • Pour Chex cereal into a bowl. Gently mix in the melted chocolate.

  • Sprinkle strawberry powder and mix until evenly coated.

  • Transfer to a bag, add powdered sugar, seal, and shake until coated.

  • Spread on the lined baking sheet and cool for 10 minutes. Serve or store.

Notes

  • Use freeze-dried (not fresh) strawberries for best texture.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
