8 oz Cool Whip, thawed

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 11×7-inch glass baking dish.

Make brownie base by mixing brownie mix, egg, melted butter, and milk. Spread in pan and bake for 25–28 minutes. Let cool completely.

Prepare French silk layer by beating cream cheese and vanilla, adding powdered sugar, then mixing in cooled melted chocolate and butter. Fold in Cool Whip.

Assemble by spreading the French silk layer on the cooled brownies. Top with more Cool Whip.

Garnish with chocolate shavings or chips. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
