Description
These brookies combine the rich, fudgy texture of brownies with the chewy, crisp edges of cookies. Perfectly chocolatey, easy to make, and incredibly delicious!
Ingredients
- Brownie Batter: Butter, dark chocolate, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt.
- Cookie Dough: Butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, chocolate chips.
Instructions
- Prepare Brownie Batter: Melt butter and chocolate, mix with sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Fold in dry ingredients.
- Prepare Cookie Dough: Cream butter and sugars, add egg and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
- Assemble: Scoop 1 tbsp of brownie batter and 1 tbsp of cookie dough, press together into a ball.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are set.
- Cool & Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.
Notes
- For extra fudgy brookies, slightly underbake them.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker brookies.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt for a gourmet touch.
