These soft, fluffy garlic butter bread rolls are infused with rich garlic herb butter, making them the perfect side dish for soups, pasta, and holiday dinners.

- For the Dough:
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- For the Garlic Butter Glaze:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Activate Yeast: In a small bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- Make Dough: In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add melted butter, egg, and yeast mixture. Mix until sticky dough forms.
- Knead Dough: Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Shape Rolls: Punch down dough and divide into 12 portions. Shape into balls and place in a baking dish.
- Second Rise: Cover and let rolls rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Make Garlic Butter: While rolls bake, mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and oregano.
- Brush & Serve: Brush warm rolls with garlic butter glaze. Serve immediately!
Notes
- For extra cheesy rolls, sprinkle grated Parmesan before baking.
- Store rolls in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months.
- Reheat in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for 5 minutes.
