Description

This quick and easy garlic butter noodles recipe is rich, flavorful, and made with simple ingredients. Perfect as a main dish or a side, it’s ready in just 20 minutes!


Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup reserved pasta water
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  • Melt butter in a large pan over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Toss in the drained pasta and mix well with the garlic butter sauce.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and gradually stir in reserved pasta water to create a silky sauce.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes.
  • Whole wheat or gluten-free pasta can be used as a substitute.
