Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes

Description

A quick and easy one-pan recipe featuring tender garlic butter steak bites and crispy golden potatoes. Ready in under 30 minutes and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • lb sirloin steak, cut into ½-inch cubes

  • 1 lb Yukon gold potatoes, cubed

  • ¼ cup ghee or butter, divided

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add olive oil and half the ghee.

  • Add potatoes, season with salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, and garlic. Cook 8–10 mins, stirring occasionally. Remove from pan.

  • Increase heat to medium-high. Add remaining ghee and steak cubes. Sear 2 mins undisturbed, stir, and cook another 2 mins.

  • Return potatoes to pan, toss to combine, adjust seasoning, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Don’t overcrowd the skillet—cook in batches if needed.
  • For paleo or dairy-free, use ghee instead of butter.
  • For added heat, sprinkle in red pepper flakes.
