Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Steak:

    • 1 lb sirloin steak, cubed

    • 1 tbsp olive oil

    • 2 tbsp butter

    • 3 garlic cloves, minced

    • 1 tsp fresh rosemary (or ½ tsp dried)

    • 1 tsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried)

    • Salt and pepper to taste

  • For the Potatoes:

    • 4 medium potatoes, diced

    • 2 tbsp olive oil

    • 1 tsp garlic powder

    • ½ tsp paprika

    • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss diced potatoes with oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.

  • Pat steak dry and season with herbs, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes. Return steak to the pan and toss with garlic butter.

  • Serve steak with roasted potatoes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Patting the steak dry helps achieve a golden crust.
  • Roast potatoes evenly by flipping halfway.
  • Add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a spicy kick.
  • Best served immediately for optimal texture.
