Description

Goat Cheese and Honey Bites are a simple yet sophisticated appetizer made with flaky puff pastry, creamy goat cheese, sweet honey, and fresh thyme. Perfect for gatherings or as a snack, these bites are quick to prepare and sure to impress.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry dough, thawed
  • One 4-ounce log goat cheese
  • Honey (for drizzling)
  • Chopped fresh thyme (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry to flatten slightly. Use a 2-inch cookie cutter to cut circles from the dough.
  • Place pastry rounds on the baking sheets and press your thumb into the center of each round to create an indentation.
  • Add about 1 tablespoon of goat cheese into each indentation.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
  • Drizzle each piece with ½ teaspoon of honey and sprinkle with fresh thyme. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use a piping bag for neater goat cheese placement.
  • Add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy-sweet variation.
  • Reheat leftovers in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes to restore crispness.
