Description

This creamy and tangy Greek feta dip is whipped to perfection with feta, Greek yogurt, and cream cheese, then topped with fresh veggies for a refreshing Mediterranean-inspired appetizer. Ready in just 10 minutes, it’s perfect for parties, potlucks, or snacking with pita chips or veggies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz. feta cheese (block in brine recommended)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (full-fat preferred)
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • A pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Whole grain pita chips, for serving

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine feta cheese, softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  • Use a handheld mixer (or food processor) to whip the mixture on medium-high speed until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add kosher salt, chopped dill, and crushed red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a shallow serving dish and smooth the surface with the back of a spoon.
  • Top with chopped cucumber, halved cherry tomatoes, extra dill, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Serve immediately with pita chips or fresh veggies.

Notes

  • For the best flavor and texture, use block feta cheese in brine instead of pre-crumbled feta.
  • Let the dip chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes for a firmer texture.
  • This dip can be made ahead of time (up to 2 days) and stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
