Description
This cozy Hobo Casserole features layers of thinly sliced potatoes, seasoned ground beef, sautéed onions, and melty cheese baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup beef broth or water
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
½ tsp paprika
-
Salt & pepper to taste

Optional: ¼ cup milk, fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Brown ground beef in olive oil for 5–7 minutes. Drain fat.

Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until soft.

Spread beef in baking dish. Top with potato slices.

Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.

Sprinkle cheddar and Parmesan cheese on top.

Pour broth around the edges. Drizzle milk if using.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Let rest for 5–10 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
