Description

These Hot Dog Nuggets are quick, easy, and incredibly tasty! Made with just hot dogs and crescent roll dough, they’re perfect for parties, snacks, or kids’ lunchboxes. Baked to golden perfection, these little bites are fun to make and even more fun to eat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 hot dogs (beef, chicken, or turkey)

  • 1 can crescent rolls (8 oz)

  • Dipping sauces (ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, cheese sauce)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Slice hot dogs into bite-sized pieces (about 0.5 inches each).

  • Roll out crescent dough and press seams together. Cut into 8 strips, then cut those strips lengthwise into 8 more strips to create 64 pieces.

  • Wrap each hot dog piece with a strip of dough, pinching the ends to seal.

  • Place on the baking sheet and bake for 8–9 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • For cheesy nuggets, insert small pieces of cheese into the hot dogs before wrapping.

  • To make them extra crispy, brush the tops with melted butter before baking.

  • You can substitute hot dogs with little smokies or use gluten-free dough if needed.
