  • Yield: 12 pinwheels 1x

Description

These Hot Ham and Cheese Pinwheels are the perfect cheesy, buttery, and flaky snack you can whip up in under 30 minutes. Made with crescent roll dough, savory ham, and melted cheese, they’re an irresistible treat for parties, quick meals, or game-day snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough (8 oz)

  • 1/2 lb sliced deli ham (thinly sliced)

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella)

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)

  • 1 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the crescent roll dough and press seams to form a single sheet.
  • Spread Dijon mustard over the dough if using.
  • Layer ham slices evenly over the dough, followed by shredded cheese.
  • Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 1-inch pinwheels.
  • Place pinwheels on the baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
  • Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • To prevent the pinwheels from unrolling, chill the rolled log for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
  • Freeze unbaked pinwheels for up to 1 month. Bake from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
