Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 1 lb ground beef (lean)
- 6 slices turkey or beef bacon (crispy, chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with olive oil, seasoning with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- Fry the bacon until crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Chop into small pieces.
- Make the Alfredo sauce by cooking garlic in the same skillet, adding heavy cream, and slowly mixing in cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Combine everything by adding the cooked pasta, ground beef, and crispy bacon to the sauce. Stir well and adjust the consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- For reheating, add a splash of milk or cream to maintain creaminess.
- Swap beef for ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Add mushrooms, spinach, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
