- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to ½-inch thickness)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Set up a dredging station: flour in one dish, whisked eggs & milk in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with seasonings in the last.
- Coat each chicken breast: dip in flour, egg mixture, then breadcrumbs.
- Sear chicken in olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to the baking dish.
- Mix Parmesan, mozzarella, and garlic, then sprinkle over each piece of chicken.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
