- 2 lbs carrots, peeled
- 1 lb thin-sliced bacon
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.
- Wash, peel, and trim the carrots. Cut larger carrots in half lengthwise for even cooking.
- Wrap each carrot with a slice of bacon, slightly overlapping the edges to secure. Use toothpicks if needed.
- Arrange wrapped carrots on the wire rack, spacing them apart for even cooking.
- Bake for 25 minutes, rotating halfway for even crisping.
- Brush with maple syrup and bake for another 8-10 minutes until caramelized.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!

- For extra crispy bacon, broil for the last 1-2 minutes.
- Use turkey bacon for a leaner option.
- Air fryer method: Cook at 385°F (195°C) for 10 minutes, brush with syrup, and cook for another 6-8 minutes.
