Ingredients

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cans (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1½ tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Cook pasta in salted water, draining 3 minutes before fully cooked. Set aside.
  • Brown ground beef and onion in a large pot over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, and diced tomatoes.
  • Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Stir in pasta and ½ cup of cheese, mixing well.
  • Top with remaining cheese, cover, and let it melt. Serve hot.

  • Add red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Swap ground beef for turkey or plant-based meat for a healthier version.
