Description

This One-Pan Creamy Parmesan Chicken & Rice recipe is a quick and delicious dinner solution. Juicy chicken breasts and creamy, cheesy rice come together in one pan for a rich and comforting meal that’s perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the onion for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  • Stir in rice and toast for 2 minutes. Add chicken broth and heavy cream, mixing well.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer on low heat for 20-25 minutes until the rice is tender and chicken is fully cooked.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a nuttier flavor, toast the rice longer before adding liquid.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture and taste.
