- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- ¼ cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Return shrimp to the pan, toss to coat, and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in parsley and serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.

- Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
- Double the sauce if serving with pasta.
- Swap chicken broth for white grape juice for extra sweetness.
